Compete For the Best Idea to Conserve Water!

Whether you’ve seen it in person or on the news, one thing is clear: California is in a serious drought. Here at Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing, we feel strongly about raising awareness for this serious issue. So we’ve partnered with the Elk Grove Unified School District (EGUSD) to create the Think Clean contest, where students from EGUSD are encouraged to submit their best water conservation ideas for an opportunity to win cash prizes!

The contest is open for all students from grades six to 12 to share with and inform their peers how they plan to conserve water, use water more efficiently and less frequently. Three winners will be chosen both in the middle and high school categories to receive cash prizes. First place winners will receive $250, second place $150 and third place $100. Beutler will also top this prize money with a $100 donation to each of the winning student’s schools as a sign of appreciation for the innovative water conservation ideas.

The Think Clean contest is accepting submissions from Sept. 23 and Oct. 28, 2014. Each entry must include a thorough explanation of the idea, the potential impact of the idea on the economy and/or community and how the idea can be implemented. In order to submit your idea, email your project to [email protected] or mail it to Beutler Think Clean, 9731 Irvine Center Drive, Irvine, CA 92618 no later than Oct. 28, 2014.
